How to create an account and setup a wallet on Telos

In order to use T-Starter, you will need a Telos/EOS/WAX account. This guide will show the various ways of creating an account and connecting a wallet.

We currently support the following wallets:

• Wombat - Recommended. Mobile (How-to) and desktop. Limited to 1 account. Supports Telos & EOS.

• Anchor - Desktop/iOS. Multiple accounts. Android pending. Supports all EOS based chains.

• Scatter - Desktop. Multiple accounts. Supports all EOS based chains.

• SQRL - Desktop. Multiple account. Supports all EOS based chains.

• WAX cloud wallet - Desktop. WAX specific.

• Telos sign - Browser-based key-cat authentication.

Creating an account (Telos)

If you are going to use the Wombat wallet, it will automatically handle the account creation for you on Telos and EOS.

If you are not using Wombat, do the following:

1. Go to telos.net

2. Enter your desired 12 character username and complete the sign-up form

3. Be sure to safely store you private and public keys. If you lose them, you lose everything!

This only covers account creation for the Telos blockchain. EOS and WAX accounts can be created using the same key pair as above.

Connecting to a wallet

You will now be able to import the private key into your desired wallet you have downloaded. For example, Anchor.

Once your account is set up in your wallet, you can proceed to log in by clicking the login button.

You will be greeted with this possible sign-in options above. You can select your desired wallet to log in. Once logged in, you should see your username and START tokens owned.
